Angad Arts Hotel was photographed on a tripod with a longer-than-normal exposure that naturally blurs any movement causing people to look ghostly at times.
Angad Arts Hotel is new 12-story luxury hotel slated to open on Nov. 1 in the former Missouri Theater building at the corner of N. Grand Blvd. and Samuel Shepard Dr. in the Grand Center Arts District in Midtown St. Louis.
Built in 1921, The Missouri Theatre seated 3558, noted as one of the largest in its time. It was a hot spot during the 1920’s and in 1955, Elvis performed for three nights. It was in December of 1957 when the theater sadly closed its doors.
The Boys and Girls Club & Teen Center of Excellence officially broke ground September 13, 2018 where a former Ponderosa once stood at 9200 West Florissant Avenue in the heart of Ferguson, MO.
The teen recreation facility is located less than half a mile from the spot where Michael Brown was shot and killed four years ago.
The new facility will have and big auditorium, a teen lounge, a music/art studio, an outdoor garden, a nutrition education center, outdoor basketball and office space.
Mary Bonacorsi (Board Chair) started the ceremony with a speech inside a tent that was standing-room-only.
The nearly 27,000-square-foot facility is funded through a mix of private donations and corporate sponsorships.
