Barbara Bultman wins Fashion Anarchy at The Last Hotel

VIDEO: Barbara Bultman, a well known fashion designer, won the Fashion Anarchy Final at The Last Hotel STL in the Historic Garment District neighborhood in Downtown St. Louis. Barbara will now take residency at the Saint Louis Fashion Fund for one year.

The ensemble she created was a wearable work of art created within 48 hours. Right after winning, she turned to her student designer, Megan Blanchard, and said (a paraphrase at best) I couldn’t have done it without your help. That was one of the nicest things ever! Congrats Barbara, Megan and Model Galina Angheluta.

I like to create pieces that are structural, sophisticated and detail oriented, while still showing the silhouettes of the female body

I wanted to add a personal note to congratulate everyone: the fashion designers, the student designers who helped and the beautiful models who wore the designs like angels. You are all so talented so much so even the judges were at odds. Remember, this competition consisted of the best-of-the-best in St. Louis and that’s y’all. That said, you should all be very proud of your selves. Bravo to all!

Fashion Anarchy is a fashion competition by BrainchildEvents.com. It’s very similar to Project Runway where designers get limited time to create their clothes.

PARTIES INVOLVED:
Brainchild Events | V Vegas Salons | Soft Surroundings | Evolution St. Louis | The Last Hotel STL | Saint Louis Fashion Fund | Stevens – The Institute of Business & Arts | Lindenwood University | KDR Designer Showrooms

  1. Thank you for your coverage Craig, it was nice to talk with you that night. My daughter was the student designer who assisted Barbara, her name was Megan Blanchard if you need that for your information. Great night!

    1. It was such a great pleasure talking to you as well. And yes thank you for the name. I will make sure her photos get tagged. She helped Barbara a lot and was really appreciated. I hope I see you again in the future at the next big fashion show..
